On March 3rd, we invited the community of Kassel to Freie Werkstatt Soziokultur for the kickoff event of CONNECTING ECOSYSTEMS. This public event welcomed all initiatives across Kassel, fostering a spirit of collaboration and shared vision for sustainable development.

The evening began with an open talk, where the team introduced themselves and the project and attendees engaged in lively discussions about the future of urban sustainability and permaculture initiatives in our city. Following the talk, participants convened for a relaxed get-together, providing an opportunity for networking and camaraderie.

During the event, attendees collectively drafted an agenda on a whiteboard, outlining key objectives and initiatives for CONNECTING ECOSYSTEMS. 

It was heartening to see such a diverse turnout, with both familiar faces from existing initiatives and newcomers eager to join the movement. The kickoff event marked a promising beginning for CONNECTING ECOSYSTEMS, setting the stage for fruitful collaboration and collective action towards a more sustainable future in Kassel.
